According to a report on Digital Spy, pop star, Geri Halliwell, of Spice Girls fame, recently received a pair of diamond earrings that tip the scales at £20,000. The spectacular purchase was a pair of solitaire diamond earrings and was certainly well received by the world famous pop star.

As the saying goes, ‘diamonds are a girl’s best friend’ and this is certainly the case for Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, who recently received a pair of £20,000 solitaire diamond earrings as a gift from her boyfriend. Fortunately, however, the cost of the diamond earrings was a mere drop in the ocean for Russian billionaire, Evgeny Lebedev, who has been dating the pop idol since 2007. Geri Halliwell, who was a world famous icon throughout the 1990’s as she toured the world with the Spice Girls, was delighted to receive the stunning pair of solitaire diamond earrings and a friend of the singer told the Daily Mail, “Evgeny wanted to do something special for Geri and thought a pair of diamond earrings would do the trick”.

According to the report on Digital Spy, the diamond earrings that Geri Halliwell received from her billionaire boyfriend, Evgeny Lebedev, were very subtle and understated but still spectacular nonetheless. Speaking to the Daily Mail, the singer’s friend stated, “He is a very classy guy so he didn’t want to get her something too in-your-face, or a big rock that might have scared her off. Geri was overwhelmed when he gave them to her; she felt so touched and loves showing the diamond earrings off to her friends now”.
