NAJ Awards 2018 – We are Winners!

Last night, the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) held their annual awards during the British Jewellery and Giftware Federation Benevolent Society Ball which recognises achievements across the jewellery industry.

Over 300 people were in attendance with NAJ Chair, Harriet Kelsall and Simon Forrester NAJ Chief Executive, presiding over the announcement of this year’s 9 awards who were treated to a magnificent evening of fun and festive entertainment.

We are proud and honoured to announce that our very own Clare Tyler was the winner of this year’s Sales Person of the Year Award!

Clare has worked with the company since it’s inception giving insight and education to customers about jewellery production and diamond quality. Almost 40 years later, customers of all ages continue to call up or pop in to ask for her expertise and guidance. Taking a motherly approach to sales, she never pushes to up-sell; she carefully guides our customers to find their dream jewellery.

From typing out invoices on a type-writer in the late 70s, to sending emails of enquiries in the 00s, Clare has seen the company and the consumer develop through technology changes and jewellery style developments the same way – by putting the customer first. She has continued to stay educated and fully trained on all methods of communications to ensure she’s able to offer the best help she can.

With an unrivalled knowledge of jewellery and the industry, she continues to ensure all our customer’s needs are met. From sourcing diamonds of a particular quality, or working with our design team for bespoke requests of jewellery, as time moves forward and the customer evolves, Clare is always one step ahead. The millennial consumer of today is extremely different to those of yesteryear, and Clare is able to help them with ease.
