Whilst traditionally the marquise cut is worn vertically in an engagement ring, some of our more modern settings feature the stone horizontally, which gives it a unique and sumptuous appearance.

Also known as the Navette cut, the Marquise cut is a symbol of royalty and opulence. Featuring quite heavily in the crown jewels of the United Kingdom, the elongated diamond is guaranteed to offer a unique and dazzling way of sparkle.

Due to the nature of the shape, the ratio between the length and the width dimensions is usually 1.8 to 2.0 to guarantee that full body with symmetrical points on either side.
