Discover more about Princess Cut Engagement Rings...
Known technically as a square modified brilliant, the Princess cut is essentially a square version of the Round diamond - meaning the facet structure of the diamond has optimum light reflection and sparkle. Typically, the perfect princess cut will have a total of 57 facets - but some diamond cutters have been known to cut over 100 into the stone.
In order to get the ideal square shape, the ratio of a Princess cut diamond has to be between 1.00 and 1.05 to avoid looking rectangular in shape.
Princess cut diamonds can be found in multiples styles in our engagement ring collections. Whilst they are exquisite on their own in solitaire settings, they are equally beautiful in three stone or halo designs.
