Our story began in 1979 when master jeweller Stephen Tyler established his namesake brand in London. For over four decades, Stephen designed engagement rings and wedding bands for renowned names such as De Beers, Beaverbrooks and Goldsmiths, alongside an extensive network of independent jewellers across the UK and Ireland.

When many retailers shifted to overseas production, Stephen recognised an opportunity to stay true to his craft while offering something different. By creating pieces in-house and offering them directly to customers, he ensured the same exceptional quality at more accessible prices. This vision became Purely Diamonds.

In 2005, Stephen’s eldest daughter, Emelie, joined the business, followed by her sister Stephanie in 2006. With their combined creativity and passion, the Purely Diamonds brand flourished, blending heritage craftsmanship with modern sensibilities.

Today, Purely Diamonds remains proudly family-owned, with every piece still designed and handcrafted in our London workshop. From engagement rings to bespoke commissions, our jewellery reflects a perfect balance of artistry, precision and personal meaning.
