When Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle in November 2017, all eyes were on the trilogy engagement ring that was gifted to the soon to be Duchess. Working alongside Royal jeweller Cleave and Company, Prince Harry chose a large central cushion cut diamond and added two diamonds from his mother’s collection to the ring completing this regal representation of past, present and future. Whilst the use of Princess Diana’s diamonds as side stones makes this ring invaluable, a like for like replica would see prices start at £55,000 assuming the centre stone is 3.0ct.

Earlier this year, Meghan was seen with a new setting for her engagement ring where her diamonds were set in a thinner band that had additional smaller diamonds in it. Starting at just under £1,000 our three stone engagement ring with diamond shoulders is a great way to emulate Meghan’s ring.

The engagement of Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Phillips to former rugby player Mike Tindall was revealed in December 2010 and Zara was seen wearing a modern engagement ring that features a split band of diamonds supporting a large round central diamond. This contemporary design appears to hold a 2.0ct round brilliant diamond, so assuming the top quality was chosen for royalty, the ring would be valued around £30k.

If this split band engagement ring is something you’d like to say “yes” to then take a look at our similar design with prices starting at £2k.

At the end of January 2018, Buckingham Palace announced the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank. Images were released of the happy couple which showcased the engagement ring which features an oval shaped pink Padparadscha sapphire surrounded by a halo of round diamonds. This unique coloured sapphire is one of the rarest forms of the mineral which gives it quite the hefty price tag – with some people suggesting a value of £100k.

Fortunately, not all sapphires are as costly and you can get something from our pink sapphire collection for just £850.
