The value of diamonds and precious metals can change over time, so an older valuation may no longer reflect the current estimated replacement cost of your jewellery.

Whether your insurer has requested updated documentation or you simply want to keep your records current, our valuation service offers a straightforward way to obtain a newly dated valuation for insurance purposes.

Our Valuation Service

Available exclusively for jewellery originally purchased from Purely Diamonds, our valuation service costs £25.

Our team will inspect your jewellery when you send it to us or review it with you during a virtual consultation via Zoom. We will then issue a newly dated valuation document reflecting its current estimated replacement value for insurance purposes.

The £25 fee includes return postage if you send your jewellery to us.

How to Request Your Valuation

Choose one of the following options to arrange your updated valuation.

Send Your Jewellery to Us

Complete our valuation request form and send it with your jewellery via Royal Mail Special Delivery to:

Please package your jewellery securely, ideally in its original box. You do not need to send your original valuation, diamond certificate or other original documents.

The £25 valuation fee includes postage back to you. You are responsible for arranging and paying for delivery to us.

Arrange a Virtual Consultation via Zoom

If you would prefer to keep your jewellery with you, contact our team to arrange a virtual consultation via Zoom.

During the consultation, we will ask you to show us your jewellery so we can review the item with you before preparing your updated valuation. Photographs alone are not sufficient for this service.

Would You Like an Additional Service?

If you send your jewellery to us, you can request an additional service at the same time:

• ✓ Clean and polish: £75 for Platinum, Yellow Gold or Rose Gold jewellery.
• ✓ Clean and polish: £85 for White Gold jewellery, including rhodium plating.
• ✓ Resize: £95.

Simply tick the services you require on the valuation request form. If requesting a resize, please also provide your required ring size.

Payment

We will email you a payment link for the £25 valuation fee and any additional services you have requested.

Payment must be completed before your updated valuation is issued and, if you send your jewellery to us, before it is dispatched back to you.
